What Support Fabric is
Support Fabric is a helpdesk and an AI agent in one service. We build the agent on your products, policies and tone, connect it to your store and your channels, launch it, and keep running it. You install an app. We do not need access to your store admin.
Gorgias, Zendesk, Intercom, Tidio, Re:amaze and Richpanel are helpdesk and chat tools that you configure, staff and train yourself. Support Fabric is the service that does the building and the training for you, and the agent sells in chat as well as answering questions. For small and mid-size stores, it replaces the need for a separate helpdesk. There is a longer side-by-side in our Gorgias alternatives guide for small Shopify brands.
Clients watch all of it from a portal at app.supportfabric.com, which has a dashboard, the chats inbox, orders, complaints, integrations and the Copilot panel.
Who it is for
Take a skincare brand we will call Noor and Co. A customer sends an Instagram DM at 11:47 PM asking where her order is, then asks whether the serum is safe with retinol, then asks which gift set to buy for her sister. The founder sees all three at 9 the next morning. Two of those three conversations are already cold.
That store is the fit. Shopify or WooCommerce, direct to consumer, most of the volume arriving in WhatsApp and Instagram DMs rather than email, at least 50 conversations a day, and a team too small to answer them around the clock. Our live stores are in grooming, skincare, cosmetics, beauty and fashion. We serve brands in the US and internationally.

What the AI agent does
The agent answers product questions on fit, sizes, ingredients, availability and recommendations in under 30 seconds, 24 hours a day.
It tracks orders. "Where is my order" is roughly half of all the queries our stores get, and the agent handles those without a person touching them.
It closes sales inside the conversation by dropping a ready-to-pay checkout link, and cash-on-delivery orders can be placed directly in chat. It understands voice notes. It understands photos, so a customer can send a picture and the agent finds the matching product in your store.
Your people stay in the loop. A support team works alongside the agent in the same inbox, with handoff, a tickets and complaints module, conversation labels, notes and assignment. Copilot, the assistant inside the portal, pulls your chats, orders, performance stats and complaints and takes actions on them.
Storebell is a consumer mobile app for iOS and Android, released in October 2026, where shoppers chat with your brand, browse products, order in the app and track orders with push notifications. It is included in your plan at no extra cost. Its tagline is "Replies instantly".
Channels it works on
Support Fabric works on WhatsApp, Instagram DMs, Facebook Messenger, website chat and email, all in one inbox. Those five, plus in-app chat through Storebell, are the full list as of October 2026.
What it costs
Support Fabric is one plan. It covers the build, the training, the go-live and running the agent after launch, and the current figures are on our pricing page.
AI usage is passed through at cost with no markup, and a conversation costs under 3 cents in AI usage.
There is no free trial, and that is deliberate. Paying upfront is what makes a client show up to the onboarding call, send us their policies and tell us when a reply sounds wrong. The guarantee carries the risk instead: "50 orders closed inside your DMs in 50 days, or you don't pay."
How onboarding works
Two calls. First a 15-minute demo. Then a 45-minute onboarding call where we learn how you want the agent to behave and talk, which products matter, what it must never say and when it should hand over to a human.
After that you install an app. We do not need access to your store admin. The agent is live on your channels within 48 hours.
Who it is not for
Some stores should not buy this.
Stores under 50 customer conversations a day do not have enough volume to earn the price back. Enterprise support operations above 10,000 tickets a month should look at enterprise AI agent vendors with the integration depth and the support contracts that come at that price. Amazon-only sellers have no store channels for us to connect. The agent is built around products, orders and checkout, which makes B2B SaaS companies and service businesses the wrong fit. Anyone who needs deep integrations into an existing enterprise stack, a custom CRM or a warehouse system should buy from a vendor whose product is the integration layer.
If you are one of those, a demo will waste your time and ours.
Who built it
Support Fabric was co-founded by Haris Hafeez, and it runs done-for-you AI customer support for Shopify and WooCommerce brands in the US and internationally. The company is on LinkedIn at linkedin.com/company/support-fabric/ and Instagram at @supportfabric. Haris can be reached at haris@supportfabric.com.
Six stores run on Support Fabric as of October 2026. Four can be named: Aodour, Mazton Skin Solutions, ByMishi and Mana Beauty. Two are not named publicly.
A men's grooming brand on Support Fabric converts 1 in 13 chats into an order, and cut its support team from 10 people to 2. The agent replies 24/7, usually within seconds.
